This is an ONN exclusive member benefit. You must be an ONN member and you must be a not-for-profit or charitable organization in order to post a job. All positions must be paid.
At ONN, we believe the key to recruiting and retaining top talent is by implementing decent work into all policies and processes. We have learned that when our sector’s workers can access decent work, not only do they do well, but organizations are better equipped to meet their missions, and as a result, our communities thrive.
In Ontario, effective January 1, 2026, there are new rules for publicly advertised job postings that are posted on or after January 1, 2026. Employers are now required to include the following information in a publicly advertised job posting:
- information about the expected compensation or range of expected compensation for the position (note: if providing a range, it cannot exceed $50,000 per year),
- a statement disclosing the employer’s use, if any, of artificial intelligence to screen, assess or select applicants for the position,
- a statement disclosing whether a vacancy exists or not.
Every posting to ConnectJobs is reviewed by an ONN team member before being made public. If a user of the platform is concerned about a job posting being fraudulent, please email concerns to info@theonn.ca. An ONN team member will respond to concerns via email, and if a posting is shown to be fraudulent, it will be removed.
